Wayne Berry, 83, of Williston, ND passed away with family by his side on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Bethel Lutheran Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Williston, ND. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Williston is assisting the family.

Wayne was one of the best instructors of all time! I learned so much from him over my college years and loved running into him from time to time.

We have been friends with Wayne and Sharon for more than 50 years. Wayne was to me the older brother I never had. We shared many good times together as our children were growing up and well beyond that time. We will definitely miss Wayne and will be praying for Wayne, Sharon, Heather and Justin and their families.

I had the privilege of working at UND-W with Wayne. He was a great friend and when my brother died he was so supportive to me. I will cherish our friendship forever, and will never forget you my friend.
