McKayla Foust, born McKayla Yvonne Mourer, on March 12, 1997, in Jackson Hole WY, died suddenly on August 20th, 2026, in a tragic accident while on vacation with her husband, Derek Foust, in Cancun, Mexico.
McKayla loved camping, fishing, hiking and photography. She loved getting out and going to events, enjoying the mountain air, and spending time with her friends. She spent much of her teenage years with her sister Cassidy and their mutual friends, especially the yearly traditions of going to the summer fairs with her sister and long car rides.
She is survived by her mother, Katherine Mourer; father, Rex Mourer; sister, Cassidy Mourer; and Camben Mourer.
McKayla will get to meet her older brother, Jesse Slade Mourer, who preceded her in death.
