Carol Lee (Blikre) Tande, 83, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Born on October 10, 1942, in Powers Lake, North Dakota, Carol was the cherished daughter of Theodore and Clara Blikre. She devoted her life to her family and to a meaningful career as an accounting teacher.

In later years, she found great joy in crocheting prayer shawls and blankets with her church group, dancing with friends at the Elks Club, and taking part in church Bible study groups. She also volunteered her time teaching reading to adults in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Carol will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and strong character, as well as for the integrity and compassion.

She and her husband, Curt, lived in Velva, North Dakota; Minot, North Dakota; Watertown, South Dakota; Grand Island, Nebraska; Des Moines, Iowa; and Lake Havasu, Arizona.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Clare Tande-Wendy Anderson and Dawn Thomas-Michael Thomas; and by her brothers, Kent Blikre and Dean Blikre.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curt Tande; her sister, Lila Johnson; and her brothers, Clair Blikre, Ted Blikre, Roy Blikre, Keith Blikre, and Loren Blikre.
