Patricia Pauleen Christine Lincoln, 33, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota.

Patricia Pauleen Christine Lincoln was born on November 6, 1992 to Monte Lincoln and Nina Denise White Owl at McKenzie County Hospital in Watford City. She was an enrolled member of Mandan Hidatsa and Arikara Nation, and a member of the Dripping Dirt Clan. Patricia liked to be called Patty and had many other nicknames.

Patty’s education journey began at the Little Plume Headstart in Mandaree. Her teachers during that time were Jeanine Spotted Horse and Andrietta Touchine. Patty attended school in Mandaree Public school and this is where her warrior pride began and also where she would meet her bestest friends that would remain her best friends into her adult life who would later become her sisters and share many memories and adventures and become her partners in crime.

She was such a Mandaree Warrior and Duke fan through and through. She became one of the biggest supporters of the Mandaree School and you could find a lot of Blue Devils attire in her closet.

Patty loved attending and being generous to the powwows... especially Mandaree Celebration and even served as Jr. Princess in 2001. Patty, with her loving and generous heart, was always so understanding and never refused anyone asking her for help. Patty contributed to the Mandaree Celebration whenever she was called on.

Patty loved her horses and spent a lot of time with them. She named her precious horses George Strait, Sweetie, Champion, and her favorite horse of all time was Hunk.

And this one time…Patty hung out with her sister Jazz one night where they called her friend Kenny Little Dog. Jazz got scared and threw the phone at Patty and then Kenny threw the phone at Jacob, and this is where their love story began. Within this union they welcomed their two beautiful children, Princess and Linda.

Later…Patty met Cory Johnson Sr. and during their union they welcomed their two beautiful children Cory JR and Nancy. Then after they remained friends and enjoyed co-parenting.

Patty loved all her children and God children very much. She loved to spoil them any chance she could get they meant the world to her.

These last few years of her life she fell in love with, and whom she spent the rest of her days with, Ethan “Grandpa” Fritsch. They created a life and home in Bismarck, ND. They enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, and endless casino trips with their fur baby Gypsy.

Patty was the oldest of her siblings and was the best big sister. She always tried her best to be there for them when any life event or milestones would take place. Patty always supported with lots and lots of love.

She had a special place in her heart for some of her close relatives, such as her “sister” Nolan, who would call her “Brother” as an inside joke, Patricia’s special uncle Keith White Owl Sr. who stayed by her side from the beginning to the end, and also her “bestest sissy” & childhood friend Peanut, who she’s been inseparable from since kindergarten.

Patty held a special place in her heart with God and was always praying for everyone she held so dear to her heart. You could always find her with her personal bible that she would turn to daily.
