Kathleen Ann Lambert
April 16, 1941 - March 2, 2026

Place of Birth: Crystal Falls, Michigan
Residence: Supply, NC formerly of Culbertson, MT
Age: 84

Kathleen Ann Lambert, 84, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the Brunswick Cove Nursing Home in Winnabow, NC with family by her side.

Kathleen was born on the 16th of April 1941 to her loving parents Thomas Corbett and Virginia Italia Carlotto and raised with her sister Mary Beth in Crystal Falls, Michigan. She lived a life focused on two passions, her children and students. She taught mathematics for over 30 years in Culbertson and Brockton Montana, touching hundreds of young lives. She was never happier or more at home than in front of a classroom where she made the impossible seem easy. Her brilliant mind mixed with a sharp wit and easy laugh made her a favorite for so many. Perhaps no one felt the depth of her love and fierce loyalty more than her three sons. She was their greatest champion and gave them everything she had. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three sons and their families Chris May, wife Leslie and son Colton, Thomas Rumsey, wife Holly and their children Jennifer, Joshua and Jacob and Abe Rumsey, wife Tessa, daughter Lauren and son Izack. She will be welcomed in heaven by her husband Dennis Lambert, Tom and Virginia Corbett and sister Mary Beth Thompson.

The family would like to thank everyone who has been so kind to us through this very difficult time. Please know she passed peacefully and was very much looking forward to being back with Dennis. Remember her laugh…and you will remember her.

Tom, Chris, Abe and your families,
Heartfelt condolences to you all. The family dynamics have forever changed the day Auntie K left our lives, only to be relived through our memories of her. Through stories we share today and tomorrow. Big Hugs to you all. Thank you for sharing your Dear Mom with our Lambert Family!

Chris, Tom and Abe, Your mom was an incredible math teacher who made learning it easy. Even though we never did agree on the value of proofs! The kids of today could use teachers like her. I will always be thankful I had her as my math teacher as a youngster.
