It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Eunice Elaine Fowler
January 20, 1938 - July 30, 2025

Place of Birth: Lemmon, South Dakota
Residence: West Fargo, North Dakota
Age: 87

Elaine Fowler was born January 20, 1937, in Lemmon, SD to Krohn and Helen Myren. Elaine grew up with 4 sisters, Farming Father & Ministering Mother. As a gifted musician, she played piano, organ, drums, bells, xylophone and even wrote a song. Her faith was a foundational staple as she traveled with her mother in ministry, played in churches, and retirement facilities over the years.

On one trip, Elaine met Carl Fowler who was working in Broadus, fell in love and they were married in 1963 in Miles City. They started in Richey, MT, moved to Wyoming, Oklahoma, North Dakota and finally settled in Sidney, MT. Carl brought her such joy as they shared their lives, traveled and loved God together. She worked at White Drug as a bookkeeper, helped Carl open Fowler 1-Hour Photo, and later moved to Fargo, ND to care for her amazing grandkids after Carl passed.

Elaine gently loved and encouraged people with a kind heart as she trusted God daily diving into scripture and constantly in prayer. She adored all of her granddaughters with appreciation of each of their individual gifts and personalities. She enjoyed games with family and friends which revealed a quiet but competitive spirit. Her supportive nature blended Motherhood and friendship with her children in an unfaltering love. She served God in her actions, her communication and in her final breaths. She loved her friends, sisters and family with a determined spirit that knowing God is the most important thing in this life.

Elaine lived in her home until she died at the Hospice house on Wednesday July 30, 2025.

Elaine is survived by daughter Carol Fowler of Fargo, ND; son, Joe (Deneen) Fowler of Austin, Texas; and daughter Melissa Gohdes (Tom) of Horace, ND; granddaughters Karlee Gohdes and Taylor Gohdes; sisters LeAuna Christian (Larry), Estelle Wolberg, and Dee Myren; and nephew Lynn Christian (Debbie).

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Fowler, parents Krohn and Helen Myren; sister Janet Myren, brother-in-law Jerry Wolberg, granddaughters Brittany Nicole Fowler and Jamie “Carly” Fowler, and grandson Gabriel Gohdes.
