It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Tammy Jo Dietz
February 26, 1972 - July 13, 2025

Place of Birth: Beach, North Dakota
Residence: Fairview, Montana
Age: 53

Tammy Jo Dietz was born February 26th 1972 in Beach, ND to James (Jim) Dietz and Linda Burman-Dietz.

Tammy was second youngest to her three brothers Darrel, Jim, and Cody. During their young age they moved frequently between eastern Montana and western North Dakota.
She peacefully passed away, surrounded by family, on July 13th 2025 after a yearlong battle from health complications.

Tammy had a firecracker personality. She loved to laugh, and she loved to cuss. Sometimes in the same breath. Her humor was sharp, her wit was quick, and her mouth was unapologetically colorful. As a single mother Tammy's strength was unmatched. People would often refer to her as “tough as nails.” Along with her strong personality she was also very selfless and would do anything for the ones she loved. She would always put her kids first, even if that meant she had to do without. If you knew Tammy, you knew she had such a contagious laugh and could cheer you up no matter the situation, and she could drop a four-letter word like punctuation. It was part of her charm, and what made her so unforgettable.

Tammy lived in many places but ultimately settled in Sidney where she spent many years working between the South 40 and the Winners Pub and where she raised her boys (and some of their friends.) She moved from Sidney to Kenmare ND where she began work as an independent cleaner and caretaker at the Senior Center. She then moved to Fairview, MT which she made home and found her second family working at the Hotel Albert. Tammy was blessed with a daughter Tesla and two sons Jesse and Cory. Tammy was an incredible human, a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a talented cook, caring sister, and an unforgettable friend. She always made time for the ones she cared about. Tammy’s favorite things were her kids, her grandkids, her friends, a good piece of cake, cotton candy, and belly-laughs. She was a person that could never sit still and was always busy. She was a collector of many and all things. Although she was not a person intrigued by crowds her favorite thing was just having company around to sit and tell jokes and just have a good time. She also loved to spend time on and walking the Yellowstone River. Tammy was very much herself, always. She had a beautiful soul and she brightened so many lives with her heart and colorful language. Her presence and aura will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her siblings: Darrell, Jim, Cody. Children: Tesla, Jesse, Cory. Grandkids: Starr, Mikey, Kyla. Along with so many close friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by: Grandma Jerry Burman, Grandpa Andy Burman, Father Jim Dietz, Mother Linda Dietz Friends; Kat Platz, Skyler Hardy, Carl Norman, Lisa Hentges, Tyler Hayden, Dan’l Nay, Jared Kutzler

We are so sad to hear of the loss of your Mom. She was so young just as Linda’s was. Praying that you as well as others that read this will feel comfort in this prayer:
(Matthew 6:9-13), "Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen”

I cannot express how much I am going to miss you friend. You are one of the best people I know. Your caring and kind heart as well as your quick witt and cursey words in any situation are something I will never forget, as the memories I have of you will live on and cannot be taken away, unlike the piece of my heart you took with you. RIP until we meet again dear friend.

My dear friend where do I begin , I know that we met and became friends for a reason ,and I know I will never find another one that compares to you . I’m never gonna forget you and all the memories for countless times over the last 8 years we spent doing anything from agate picking and boating on the Yellowstone to just taking drives to talk about life. I’m not gonna forget that laugh or the smile you truly were an amazingly selfless person and you taught me a lot ,and I’m thankful for your true loyalty over the years . It’s never goodbye it’s until next time my dear friend Love you Creeper
