Jeanette Thorgramson
May 4, 1943 - July 3, 2025

Place of Birth: Williston, North Dakota
Residence: Watford City, North Dakota
Age: 82

Jeanette was born on May 4, 1943, to Kenneth & Ella Thomas in Williston, North Dakota. Jeanette grew up on the family farm located just northeast of Watford City. She attended Rocky Glen School in McKenzie County where she received several certificates for perfect attendance. She later attended Watford City School. Jeanette married Wes Thorgramson on September 4, 1962, in Watford City, North Dakota. Jeanette and Wes raised two boys Donald who was born in 1962 and Carl who came along later in 1970.

Jeanette had many hobbies and loved to share her handy work with everyone from family and friends to hospitals and churches. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed crocheting making everything from blankets and animal pillows to headbands and barbie clothes. She always made sure the family had blankets and quilts to share. Gardening and spending time at the lake were things she greatly enjoyed.

Her biggest joy was the time she spent with her family. Watching her boy’s Donald & Carl grow up, and when they were grown, she was able to watch her grandkids, and her great grandkids grow. She was always there to cheer them on during sports and other school activities. When she was unable to attend, she made sure to make time and ask how everything went. She was so proud of her family and made sure to tell them so every chance she got. She will be dearly missed, but she will live on through stories and memories she made with her family.

Jeanette will be missed by; Son, Donald Thorgamson; Daughter-in-law, Renee (Carl) Thorgramson; Grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Kleen, Megan (Joshua) Hiatt, Shannan Thorgramson, Shakira (Miles) Davis, Wes (Kaela) Thorgramson, Tanaya Thorgramson, Garrett (Alexandra) Thorgramson; Great-Grandchildren, Jordyn, Chase, Emberly, Carl, Waylon, and Ethan, who made his arrival on Wednesday, July, 9; Sisters, Francis Falkenhagen, Jackie (Kevin) Sullivan; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Old time photos of Jeanie and her sisters, and a few cousins.
The Lemm cousins from Browerville, MN send you much love and support. We all have such fond memories of our visits to Watford City, and Jeanie was an integral part of our times there. Mom loved all her nieces so much, and always had the best stories of them. I remember Jeanie and Wes being very welcoming to our crew when we showed up.
The memories are are our treasured gifts!
