Joyce Collingwood Wilkinson passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025, at the Sidney Health Center Extended Care in Sidney, Montana with family by her side. She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Family was the most important part of her life.

Born on May 5, 1931, to Clara (Larsen) and Raymond Collingwood in Shell, Wyoming, Joyce was the sixth of seven children. In her young life, she enjoyed the outdoors – helping in the garden with her mother, helping her father on their farm, and exploring with her brothers, horse, and dog “Tippy.” She graduated as Valedictorian of the class of 1949 at Greybull High School.

A few years after graduation, Joyce married William “Bill” Wilkinson on July 8, 1951, in Greybull, Wyoming. After living for brief periods in Denver, Butte, and Billings, Bill and Joyce settled in Sidney, Montana to raise their family of six at their family restaurant, The Dutch Mill. After a brief (failed) retirement, they returned to the restaurant business in 1990 with the opening of The Depot. They worked for many years alongside their children and grandchildren before their son Mark took over operations and they finally enjoyed full retirement.

Joyce is survived by her children Deb (Mike) Delaney of Grassrange, MT, Mike (Lisa) Wilkinson of Queen Creek, AZ, Julie (Donnie) Weber of Sidney, MT, Nancy (Mike) Steffan of Sidney, MT, and Mark (Kelly) Wilkinson of Sidney, MT; brother Clint Collingwood of Greybull, Wyoming; son-in-law Mike Wheeling; grandchildren Sarah (Dave) Faiman, Julie (Lonny) Jacobson, Kari (Jason) Abelseth, Michael (Katie) Delaney, Anne (Duane) Bergum, Adam Wilkinson, Ben (Jen) Wilkinson, Tess (Jordan) Tatum, Katie Cheek, Matt (Meagen) Weber, Dallas (Kira) Weber, Stacy (Mike) Mangold, Jen (Scott) Doty, Jeff (Tiffany) Steffan, Brandi (Matt) Harris, and Molly Wilkinson; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild expected July 2025.

Joyce was welcomed to heaven by her husband Bill; parents Raymond and Clara Collingwood; daughter Patti Wheeling; grandsons Bryan Weber and Jesse LaFountain; brothers Floyd, Allen, Lawrence “Wee,” and Wesley; and sister Evelyn Satterfield.
