October 28, 1968 - May 15, 2025

Place of Birth: Northridge, CA
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 56

James "Jamie" Donald Daily was born October 28, 1968 and was called home May 15, 2025.

Jamie was born in Northridge, California to Donald and Louise Daily. He moved to North Dakota where he called home, and eventually met his North Dakota family that would quickly accept him into their lives as family in 2002.

Jamie was a cook for many years at several various restaurants. At the Airport International Inn he met Rhonda, and a friendship ensued as coworkers that would later blossom into a relationship. Jamie also worked at Lonnie's Roadhouse when he suffered a stroke that left him dependent on his North Dakota family for everyday needs that we all take for granted.

Jamie took on being a dad to Bradley and Kalem, Rhonda's boys. October was born in 2008 and was Jamie's everything the minute he laid eyes on his beautiful baby girl. Everything he did revolved around October. Rhonda and Jamie would remain very close friends/family.

Family get togethers, BBQs and Holidays were Jamie's favorites. He had a passion and love for cooking for his friends and those he considered family. Jamie's chip dip was always a fan favorite at all family events. Jamie, enjoyed spending time with his kids taking them fishing, to the county fair and anything his kids wanted to do he was up for the adventure.

Jamie played on pool and dart leagues where he formed many friendships. He enjoyed arguing with October in their own funny ways. He never won against October. Jamie loved doing yard work and gardening with Rhonda. He was always there for any and all projects around the house, there was nothing to big.

When Jamie suffered a major stroke, he refused to let anyone help him with anything. Rhonda took on that challenge, keeping Jamie active and making sure he had his meds and took them.

Jamie is survived by his daughters Katelynn Daily and October Maldonado; sons, Devon Daily, Bradley Hatchard and Kalem Maldonado; special friend, Rhonda Mundo; father, Donald Daily; step-mom, Laura Daily; brothers, Jody and John Daily; sister, Julie (Seth) White; sisters-in-law, Pam (Jerry), Lauri, Amy (Timothy), Nancy, Donna (Trent); his dog, Kobe; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Louise Daily; friend, Franklin Mundo; Rhonda's mom, Lenora Hunter (Jackie the Ripper) Jamie's "other mom" as he called her; brothers-in-law, Joseph Hunter and Sefton Kienzle.
