Delores "Dolly" Brooks
October 3, 1939 - April 25, 2025

Residence: Williston, North Dakota

Heaven has gained another angel. With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Delores "Dolly" Brooks. Born on October 3, 1939, she made her transition to another life on April 25 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and love.

Known fondly as Dolly, she was a woman with a big heart and an endless craving for sweets. Equally, Dolly was a hug enthusiast and loved showering others with warm hugs and calling everyone “Sweety”.

Dolly's enthusiasm for sports was also admirable, with the Dallas Cowboys being her favorite football team and watching Kyle Busch in Nascar.

She enjoyed catching up with friends and family on the phone and watching the world from her apartment windows. She would often wear shirts that embraced her sense of humor, friends enjoyed asking Dolly, “What does your shirt say today?”

Dolly is survived by her loving children, Roger Olson, Rodney (Gloria) Olson and Charlene (Jerry) Thompson, who will miss her dearly. Many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild to arrive in August.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Brooks.

As we bid farewell to Dolly here on earth, heaven is preparing to welcome her with open arms. Dolly's love for life will forever be etched in our hearts.

Sending hugs and condolences to the families of Dolly. A sweet lady who was one of a kind. I remember times when your son would play guitar and you would sing. I eventually joined in. Such good memories. Dolly will be missed missed by many. May you keep her memories in your hearts. RIP Dolly
