Dean M. Knudsvig passed away April 14, 2025, at the Aneta Parkview Health Center in Aneta, ND at the age of 86. He was born to Peder and Esther (Myhre) Knudsvig on March 31, 1939 along with his twin sister, Deanna, in Wildrose, ND.

On November 4, 1961, he was married to Lois Johnson at Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Ambrose, ND. They had two daughters, Darnell and Denise. He worked for Divide County Highway Department for 40 years and he farmed until he was 75. After his retirement, he kept busy doing snow removal for his neighbors in Wildrose.

Dean is survived by his wife, Lois; daughters, Darnell (Bob) Tangsrud and Denise (Roger) Deines; his 5 grandchildren, Ryan (Anna) Skarphol, Matthew (Crystal) Tangsrud, Diandra (Levi) Kallberg, Amy (Shawn) Brown and Aaron (Emily) Tangsrud; 11 great-grandchildren, Janie and Lucy Skarphol, Kadence, Kendal and Kutler Kallberg, Finlay, Haven and Daphne Brown, and Nicolai, Eunice and Josephine Tangsrud; brothers-in-law, Jerry Sorenson and Eugene (Lonnie) Johnson; sister-in-law, Ardith Nore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Janet (Verlin) Hanson and Deanna Sorenson; and brother-in-law, Henry Nore.

To Dean's Family, we are sad to hear about Dean's passing. He was always a joy to visit with and share a laugh with. I could always get a big laugh out of him. He kept Divide County Roads smooth for many years. Rest In Peace Buddy!
