Larry Wallace Lundeen
June 24, 1951 - August 30, 2024

Place of Birth: Williston, North Dakota
Residence: Watford City, North Dakota
Age: 73

Larry Wallace Lundeen, 73, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at the Good Shepherd Home in Watford City, ND. He was born in Williston, ND, on June 24, 1951.

He grew up on a farm north of Watford City and attended Nelson School. Larry graduated from Watford City High School in 1969. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Moorhead State.

After college, he spent several years working for Pepsi Cola and lived in Jamestown most of that time. He later worked for B & H Body Shop. Eventually, he started his own construction company which involved remodeling many different homes, installing windows and doors, building decks, siding houses, doing all kinds of handyman jobs, etc. He had a hard time saying “no” (especially to his repeat customers) even when he had too many jobs lined up.

Collecting cars and attending car shows has been his hobby in recent years. He has quite a collection of trophies to show for that. He was an avid Minnesota Twins fan and attended several of their Spring Training Camps in Fort Myers, FL. He made friends wherever he went. Traveling to Great Falls to visit family was another source of enjoyment. Larry also enjoyed playing pinochle and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Larry was a member of the Moose, Eagles and the Basin Kruzers car club.

Larry is survived by his sister Carol (Clyde) Byerly, his niece, Caren (Scott Paske) Byerly, and grand-niece, Aila, all of Great Falls, MT. He is also survived by two cousins: Rich (Taffy) Satter and Susan (Craig) Marti.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Martha (Satter) Lundeen.

We are so sad to learn that Larry passed away. What a pillar of our community in his own way! Hard working professional perfectionist! No one will ever know how many close and personal friends he has. Larry is an Icon in his own right! He was one of the first uptown people I met when we moved to Watford City in 1981! B&H Body shop! I will never forget Larry Lundeen! Heaven Is Sounding Sweeter All The Time!

Larry will be greatly missed at all of Basin Kruzers car shows and events in Williston. He always had the biggest smile on his face and had some of the coolest rides! We sure enjoyed having him around the past few years.
