Harper Rose Stafslien, 6, of Stanley, ND, passed away unexpectedly and gained her Heavenly wings on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Mountrail County Medical Center ER in Stanley, ND.
Harper Rose Stafslien was born to Heidi and Brooks Stafslien on February 4, 2018, in Minot, ND. As the baby of the family, younger sister to Ava and Sophie, her arrival completed the trio of “Stafslien Girls” and gave her dad Brooks the beloved title of “Girl Dad”. She was baptized into the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she regularly attended Mass and CCD classes. Harper was in the kindergarten class at the Stanley Elementary School and loved being in school! She would walk to her mom’s 3rd grade classroom after school where all of the older kids would shower her with love at the end of the day.
Harper loved life and everyone she met in her six short years. She had such a spirit for life and everything the family did she had fun at. Harper would spend hours and weekends in the gym watching her older sisters play sports and never ever complained. Kids were always drawn to her to play with and Harper was a friend to everyone she met. She was so kind, empathetic to others, happy all the time, and wanted everyone around her to be happy also. Harper would often want to pray for her friends if she thought they were sad or had a bad day. She had the best personality and was always making everyone around her laugh. She had the best big belly infectious laugh.
Harper loved to play with LOL dolls, sloths, Barbies, read, do math problems, and draw. She loved to sing, and would often narrate her life through song. Harper was a little fish and loved to swim, and she was so good at it from a young age! She loved playing with her older sisters, Ava and Sophie, and cuddles anytime of the day or night with her mom. She liked to fix things with her dad and visit with her grandparents. She will be so missed by everyone!
Harper is survived by her parents, Heidi and Brooks; older sisters, Ava and Sophie; grandparents, Bryan Gray and Joan Stafslien (Wes Sherven); aunts and uncles, Tyler and Shannon Stafslien, Justin and Carissa Stafslien, Courtney and Jody Mills, Kristi and Keven Wanner, Angie and Jason Heupel; and cousins, Devan, Trenten, Keenan, Kelby, Emilyn, Owen, Stella, Hendri, and Dominic.
She is preceded in death by her beloved grandma Claudia Gray, and grandpa Vince Stafslien.
