It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Johanna Adelia Wilhorn
November 27, 1936 - September 2, 2023

Place of Birth: York, Maine
Residence: Culbertson, Montana
Age: 86

Johanna A Wilhorn, who loved to be called “Momma” by her kids, departed her loving family on the evening of September 2, 2023.

Johanna was born in York, Maine on November 27, 1936 to Lorenzo and Johanna (Van Eden) Paterson.

Johanna was mother to John, Jimmy, and Joseph Wilhorn. She raised her children with love and devotion in Inyokern, CA with her husband John Wilhorn whom she met and eventually married while he was serving in the Navy. Later on, they ran a firewood business with their son Joseph. After 43 years of marriage, they sadly divorced in 1999.

Johanna was a wonderful wife, mother, bookkeeper, cosmetologist, homemaker, businesswoman and janitor. Johanna was known for her intelligence, organization, and most of all kindness, love, and understanding. She was the most supportive mother and grandmother you’d find. She’d talk with you forever and be your greatest friend. Her hobbies included helping people, pottery, seamstress, ice skater, professional bowler of 48 championships in San Fransisco 1974, selling Avon, and of course, Johanna is a crochet legend. She was most proud of her boys, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children John (Tammy), Jimmy (Tamera), and Joseph (Nicole) Wilhorn; grandchildren Alex, Brianna, Johanna, Joseph Jr, John, Joshua, Sarah, Jessi, and Ashley; great-grandchildren Scarlett, Aries, Hayes, Harley, Levi, Sophia, Vincent, Jaxx, Taylor, and Layne; Nieces Johanna and Sylvia; and sister Janet.
