Willy David Amparo
August 9, 1967 - August 27, 2023

Place of Birth: Dominican Republic
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 56

Willy Amparo, 56, of Williston, ND passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at his residence in Williston, ND.

Willy David Amparo was truly an adventurous man. He lived by his own rules, his own law, his own moral compass and his own self rights. Willy was strong willed, ambitious in his aim, and fearlessly driven. Willy’s only love was God, family and country. He loved, protected and guided his 3 children like the air he breathed. He loved his grandchildren more than life itself. He was an excellent, patient, and nurturing grandfather.

Willy David Amparo is survived by his mother, Ruth Amparo; the mother of his children, Wanda Acevedo; his eldest son Eliezer Amparo and his wife Jacqueline Amparo; middle daughter Carolina Lagana and her husband Gary Lagana; youngest son and beloved confidant Jordan Garvin; sister Leticia Ortiz and her husband Douglas Kirkwood; niece Geovanna Garvin; and nephew, Gabriel Garvin. Willy also left behind six beautiful grandchildren; he was a loving father, friend and truly great man to all who knew him.
