Laverne was a great person. I used to spend every weekend growing up going to the farm to spend time with Laverne and the family. Laverne taught me how to drive a stick shift in the pasture. Loved playing cards and visiting with him. My fondest memory was when I was little I would shave him and he would give me a quarter. I would look forward to it every weekend. I also enjoyed going to check cows with him. Laverne enjoyed when you would call him to visit. He never ran out of things to talk about. I will surely miss him... Rest In Peace Laverne
