Loretha Lynn (White Owl) Broncheau, a child of the Knife Clan, was born on October 4, 1987, to Gilbert and Josephine White Owl in Watford City, North Dakota.

Loretha spent the majority of her life in Mandaree. In her youth, she enjoyed playing basketball, riding horse, and spending time with her friends. She graduated from Mandaree Public School in 2006.

After high school, Loretha attended Minot Job Corps where she completed her CNA in less than one year. She continued to live and work as a CNA at Minot Trinity Homes. During this time, she met William who she married on September 16, 2011. From this union came four beautiful daughters.

They decided to relocate to New Town where Loretha worked as a CNA at Lakeview Nursing Home. Loretha enjoyed traveling with her family, attending sun-dances, going to the casino, and playing darts as well as spending time with her family and friends.

Loretha was loved by everyone who knew her. She always greeted you with a smile and big hug. Loretha was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

Loretha is survived by her husband, William Broncheau; daughters, Shylee, Tasheena, Jaslyn, and MaCaylee (New Town); son, Dakota Broncheau (OR); mother, Josephine White Owl (Bismarck); brother, Gordon (Glory, Mandaree); sister, Crystal (Bismarck); and numerous nieces and nephews; to many to mention.

Loretha is preceded in death by her father, Gilbert White Owl; sister, Sheila White Owl; Paternal Grandparents; Maternal Grandparents; and numerous family members.

Condolences to Loretha's family, thank you for the beautiful memories of family, the gatherings for birthdays, picnics at the lake, and the love you showd us of family. Your kind and, friendly spirit will be missed. Prayers and love to your family during this difficult time. Condolences to all of Loretha’s family. She was such a sweet person. When she worked at the assisted living home in NT she was so nice to my mother.
They shared many visits and snacks together and my mom sure enjoyed it. RIP Loretha.
