It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
John Robert Wade
January 14, 1984 - January 11, 2023

Place of Birth: Bakersfield, California
Residence: Williston, North Dakota
Age: 38

John Robert Wade, of Bainville, Montana left this world on January 11, 2023. Originally from Bakersfield, California, John was born to Ron and Patty Wade on January 14, 1984 and graduated from North High School in 2002.

He proudly served 9 years in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant with the 4th Infantry Division, 2 Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, deploying on two tours to Iraq in Operation Iraqi Freedom and one to Afghanistan in Operation Enduring Freedom. He spent the last decade in the oil and gas industry as a wireline operator.

John leaves behind the love of his life, Carli Wade, who is expecting their child, as well as children, Kayte (KJ), Conner, Siena, and Zoie.

He is survived by his parents; his in-laws, Bill and Tina Freeman; siblings, Roni (Jake) Patterson, and Brad (Heidi) Walbourn; and brother-in-law, Will (Jess) Freeman. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved and many dear friends that he considered family, honorary brothers, Aaron Johnson and Tanner Sistrunk.

John loved the outdoors, especially ice fishing. He was naturally good at pretty much everything– he was an excellent cook and was excited about honing his skills on his new Traeger (although he was worried he would get fat). He was the proudest while watching Conner and Siena play sports and was a very talented hockey player himself.

He was a lot of things to a lot of people. True to his “Wade” genes, he had sarcastic tendencies and a tough exterior but he was a gentle giant with a heart of pure gold. He was funny and smart and loved animals, especially dogs, and had just gotten a wrinkly hound named Loretta that he adored and even dressed up to protect from the winter elements.

He was reunited in heaven with his maternal and paternal grandparents; sister, Katie; and his fallen brothers before him.
