Donna June Bugbee, age 91, from Tioga, ND died on Thursday, December 15, 2022 while spending the winter in Tucson, AZ.

Born on June 3, 1931 in McVille, ND, to Eustache and Maude (Haas) Mannie, Donna grew up in rural Hamar, ND. She attended schools in both Hamar and Tolna. She spent her 7th grade going to school in Los Angeles, CA, while living with her sister Betty, and returned to finish school in Tolna, graduating in 1949.

On July 27, 1949, Donna married Kenneth Bugbee and shortly thereafter resided in Tioga, ND where they lived the rest of their lives. They had 6 children, Ron, Delora, David, Les, Bruce and Curt.

Donna enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing, crafts, swimming and especially bowling. Donna enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and was an avid NBA fan. She was known by her grandkids for homemade popsicles, doughnuts and fried bread dough, which are traditions that continue today.

Surviving family include son, Ronny (Sandy) Bugbee of Germantown, MD, Delora Hartsoch, of Gillette, WY; David and Anna Bugbee of Fort Worth, TX; Leslie (Julia) Bugbee of Tucson, AZ; and Curtis (Natalie) Bugbee of Tioga, ND; brother, Rollin Mannie of Sioux Falls, SD; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by husband, Kenny; son, Bruce; brothers, Glenn and Larry; sister, Betty; sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Margaret Mannie and brother-in-law, Kermit Dakken.

My condolences to Donna and Kenny's family. She was a great woman who loved her family. I remember her playing the piano and she taught me how to make chocolate for ice cream which I still do today. She will be missed.
