Angela Holte, 53, of Powers Lake, ND, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Tioga Medical Center in Tioga, ND.

Angela was born on November 21, 1968 to Elwood and Diana Thompson in Powers Lake, ND. She was baptized at Bethel Lutheran Church in BattleView, ND. Angie attended school in Powers Lake until they moved to Tioga in 1981. She graduated from Tioga High School in 1987.

Angie married Darren “Skeeter” Raan and they moved to Oklahoma. After their divorce, she married Tyler Haider and they lived in California. Following their divorce, she moved back to Tioga. She met Doug DeMoe and from this union, she had her son Brady on March 15, 1995. Angie then met the love of her life, Cameron. They were married on January 24, 2003. Their son Connor was born on February 25, 2005. They made their home in Tioga until they moved to Powers Lake in 2016.

She worked at Tri City Cares for many years. Her most recent job was Head Cook at the Powers Lake School. She loved her job and enjoyed seeing all of the kids every day. She stayed at this job until her illness progressed.
Angie enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved her trips with her friends to Deadwood and Las Vegas, to name a few. She enjoyed going for “fun runs” on the side by side and later the slingshot. She adored her grandkids and always looked forward to spending time with them. Her family and friends meant the world to her and she will be missed so much.

Angela is survived by her husband, Cameron Holte Sr.; sons, Brady Thompson, Connor Holte and Cameron (Camille) Holte Jr. and children, Caden, Kash, Bella and Aurora; mother, Diana Thompson; brother, Ben (Lisa) Thompson and children, Tyler and Bailey of Florida; sisters, Betty Thompson and son, Mattheau of Powers Lake, ND and Carrie Thompson of Williston, ND.

Angela is preceded in death by her father, Elwood Thompson; brother, John Thompson; and grandparents, Vernon and Wanda Nissen and Ben and Annie Thompson.

Growing up in BattleView I have many memories of Angie and her sibling. My thought and prayers are with each of you. Treasure the memories and allow them to help you through this difficult time. Angie smile lit up her face,and she always had a smile for us Battle View kids.

Angie was my best friend from second grade through our graduation. I may not have been hers, but she was mine!!! My thoughts and prayers are with Angie's family!!! I have some of my fondest memories playing in their big house in battle view. Love you Ang!!! You will be missed!!!!!
