Leander Standish, 72, of Minot passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Trinity Hospital in Minot. He was born October 19, 1949 in Elbow Woods, ND to his parents Alton & Lenore Standish.

Leander was born and raised in Elbow Woods and also lived throughout North Dakota, Montana and South Dakota.

He is survived by his nephews, Galvin Standish, Norma Standish, and Thornton Standish; his nieces, Candace Standish, Cheryl Standish, and Christina Standish; also, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Senior Pallbearer will be Billie Eckiss.

Leander was preceded in death by brother, Leroy Standish; nephews, Leroy Standish JR. and Robert Standish; niece, Jodi Standish; and parents, Alton & Lenore Standish.

It was Leander’s request to have small services with no wake.
