Our dear and loving Edith (Edie) Mildred Thompson Elvick passed away peacefully on September 12, 2022 at the age of 84 in Reno, Nevada.

She was born on March 21, 1938 to Vernon and Mildred Thompson in White Earth, North Dakota. She was the third of nine Thompson children. She moved to Reno, Nevada in 1958 where she lived most of her life.

She is survived by her three children; David Yost and his wife Janelle, Julie Schweitzer, and James Elvick and his wife Lona; five grandchildren, Robert, Samuel, Lauren, Garrett, and Savannah; Sisters, Verlee Kjosen (Donald), Joan Long (Jerry); Brothers, Jerry Thompson (Penelope) and Steven Thompson; Brothers-in-laws, Raymond Iverson, Joe Ness and Jack Cremer; and Sister-in-law, Beverly Thompson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Vernon and Mildred Thompson, Sisters; Betty Thompson, Sandra Cremer, Deanne Iverson and Debbie Ness; and Brother, Larry Thompson.
