Lorna Hunts Along, 54 of Mandaree was the youngest of 6 children, born to Matthew Hunts Along Sr. and Blanche (Wolf) Hunts Along on September 6th, 1967, in Watford City, North Dakota. Lorna’s maternal grandparents were Pearl (Medicine Crow) and George Wolf Sr, and her Paternal grandparents were May Hunts Along and John Sitting Crow Sr. Lorna was a member of the (a-w-xhe) Dripping Dirt Clan and a child of the Knife Clan.
Lorna was raised by her grandfather George Wolf Sr. after the passing of her mother in 1968. She attended Mandaree Public School. In her younger years, she enjoyed being around family and attending pow wows with her grandparents. Lorna enjoyed horse riding, dirt biking, and spending time with her sisters Bonnie and Julie.
Lorna was employed at Leonardo’s Noodles in Devils Lake, Mandaree School, Mandaree Post Office, Four Bears Casino, Mandaree C-Store and MEC.
In 1986, Lorna met Michael Jetty and together they had a son, Jordan Jetty. Later in life she met Quentin Mason and they had a daughter, Lisa Mason. Lorna raised her grandchildren Cole, Emberly and Kaedyn.
Lorna LOVED gambling. She attended many Casinos throughout the Country, with her favorite being in Deadwood, South Dakota. During her casino visits, she met and visited many people. She enjoyed attending concerts, collecting her jewelry, and riding on the pontoon when she was able too. Her favorite thing was visiting with family and friends.
Lorna is survived by her Sister Bonnie Hunts Along; Son Jordan Jetty; Daughter, Lisa Mason; Grandchildren, Ryland Jetty, Jasmin Jetty, Airres Jetty, Cole Young Bear, Emberly Young Bear, Kaedyn Mason, Lucy Jetty, Hunter Mason, and Kezley Mason; all of Mandaree, North Dakota.
Lorna is proceeded in death by her Father Matthew Hunts Along Sr.; Mother Blanche (Wolf) Hunts Along; Grandfather George Wolf Sr.; Brothers Richard, Matthew, James, and Jerome.
Lorna will be laid to rest by her lifelong partner, Quentin (Terry) Mason.
