Lyla Slemin, 76, of Stanley, North Dakota passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Tioga Medical Center in Tioga, North Dakota.

Lyla was born on January 10, 1946 in Stanley, North Dakota and was the thirteenth out of fifteen children born to Eugene and Ruth (Eustis) Marmon.

Lyla married Ernest Moe on June 21, 1969 in Ross, North Dakota. They were married until the time of his death. On June 8, 1974 Lyla married Charles Slemin and together they lived on a farm south of Ross until they moved to White Earth, North Dakota. Lyla worked as a CNA at the Mountrail County Bethel Home in Stanley, North Dakota.

Lyla is survived by her children; Todd (Michele) Moe of Stanley, ND, Jacie (Gary) Steiger of Bismarck, ND, Dean Moe of Tioga, ND, Yvonne (John) Hanson of Minot, ND, Jody (Sarah) Moe of Ray, ND, and Leo Slemin of McGregor, ND; 10 grandchildren, Zach, Mason, Josh, Colton, Trevor, Brandyn, Shane, Mackenzi, Shyla, and Ethan; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Shirley) Marmon, Larry (Linda) Marmon, Kathy Gagnier, Flo Garcia, and Pat (Patty) Marmon.

She is preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; son, Eugene Oliver; granddaughter, April Ruth; grandson, Jacob Dean; great grandson, Kailen Moe; brothers, Melvin, Leo, Jeff, Nyla, Frank, Donald, John, and Roy; and sister, Averill.
