Gary and all the Pennzoil guys shaped me as I was learning the ropes. I will always have gratitude for all their help. I first met Gary in 1979. He was a straight shooter and fair minded. He set a good example for many to follow, His quick smile led to many friendships and countless hours of conversation. We will miss his presence. God speed Gary.

Seeing this notice of Gary's passing brings tears to my eyes as I knew him to be a kind, caring and humorous man whenever I stopped at Metz' station. Gary always had a good word or two to say sprinkled with good humor! Knowing the "kids" when working at Sidney High School helped me to know their Dad, also. God be with you all with his grace, mercy and comfort. Sharon Smelser
