Alan Biwer, 64, of Tioga, ND passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at his residence in Tioga, ND.

Alan Walter Biwer was born on March 28, 1957 in Minot, ND to Walter and Eilene (Johnson) Biwer. Alan was raised in Tioga, ND. He graduated from Tioga High School in 1975. He then attended the Arizona Automotive Institute in Phoenix, AZ. Alan worked as a mechanic for Blikre Motors in Tioga.

On July 18, 1980, Alan married June Christofferson. From this union, they were blessed with two daughters, Shanna and Kelly.

Alan worked for various oilfield companies until becoming self-employed when he opened Al’s Auto Service in Tioga. Later he went back to work in the oilfield as a mud logger-geologist for PLS. Then he worked as a pumper until he retired in 2019.

Alan had many interests throughout the years…photography, 4-Wheeling, computers and woodworking. Most recently he loved helping at Tioga’s new museum. He also loved spending time with family and especially his grandkids.

Alan is survived by his mother, Eilene Biwer; daughters, Shanna (Jason) Christianson and Kelly (Lane) Johnson; grandchildren, Jayda, Isaac & Brantley Johnson and Kendall & Madeline Christianson; brothers, Paul (Cheryl) Biwer, Kenny (Sue) Biwer, and Travis Biwer; sisters, Julie (Mick) Arness, and Heidi (John) Cron; sisters-in-law, Pattie Biwer and Linda Biwer; many nieces and nephews; 2 special friends, Jay Wolla and Shannon Larson.

Alan was preceded in death by his father, Walter; and siblings, David, Robin, Billy, and Kathleen.
