Rona Skogas
April 1, 1946 - December 2, 2021

Place of Birth: Wolf Point, MT
Residence: Sidney, MT
Age: 75

Rona (Turz) Skogas was born on April 1, 1946 to Pete and Marge Unruh in Wolf Point, MT. Rona lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and working in her yard (and everyone else’s). She also loved to paint; she painted many houses around the area.
On December 2, 2021, we lost a part of our hearts when our mother, grandma, sister and friend passed away peacefully at the Sidney Health Center in Sidney, MT with her family by her side.
Rona left behind; her daughter, Jami Ruff; her sons, Brad (Becky), and Jerald “JW” (Staci); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Austyn (Tonyce), Brady, Kaden, Keegan and Kyle; her five great grandchildren; her brothers, Randy (Cheryl) and Russ; and her sister, Rhonda.
We all love and miss her very much.

Rona was a powerful woman. Small in size but mighty in every other way. Her presence on this earth will be so greatly missed. Prayers for healing hearts for her family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Rona's passing. I worked 14 years at the Mental Health Center and always looked forward to my daily visits with Rona. We had some Richey history together and always found something to talk about. I can still hear her laugh. She was such a hard worker, great painter, and I was glad I got to know her and share life stories during the time I worked at the MHC. My condolences to her entire family.

Rona was a good friend. I enjoyed working with her with the county. I also enjoyed our Sunday visits till Covid interrupted them. I called and visited with Rona a week before she passed. I will miss her. She was a good friend. Hard worker and and was proud of her family. She painted both my houses and worked in my yard. Best wishes and deepest sympathy for her family.

I remember Rona as a hard worker who always made those around her enjoy their day a little more by her postive attitude and laughter.
