Dear Family...so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Always difficult to lose a parent regardless of our age. We fondly remember your Mom and all your family, especially my classmate, Patty. We're praying for you and wish we could join you in Richey. God bless and comfort you all.

I first met Phyllis and Jack through the VFW Auxiliary functions. Both were active participants in local, district, and state activities. I visited Phyllis in Crestwood and later at extended care until COVID. Then I was able to "see" her on Facebook with pictures and videos posted from the activities. She was a spitfire in the Auxiliary and I loved her for her enthusiasm. How sad to see the pillars of our organization go one by one with no one to fill their shoes.
