Mildred Brandt, 85, of Stanley, ND passed away at the Tioga Hospital on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.

Mildred C. was born on June 20, 1936 at the Johnson Maternity Ward in Stanley, North Dakota to Melvin and Clara (Norquist) Western. She was raised by Lund’s Valley.

Millie met and married Tom Dolan in Stanley, ND. Together the couple raised their five children; Robert, Vickey, Joanne, Randy, and Kathy. Tom passed away on April 4, 1992 and Millie continued to raise the children in the Stanley area. On June 13, 2005 Millie married Jerry Brandt and the pair lived in the Stanley are until his death in 2006.

“Mom your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure”.

Millie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband’s Tom and Jerry; daughters Kathy Dolan and Joanne Cordes; brother Erland Western; daughter in law Shirley Dolan; son in law Gary Cordes; brother-in-law Bobby Dolan.

Mildred is survived by her sons Robert and Randy Dolan; her daughter Vickey (David) Ashley; grandson Chad (Jodie) Bounting; sister-in-law Joyce Hollekim; and brother-in-law Richard (Audrey) Dolan.

I really enjoyed getting to know Millie. I thought she was a very interesting lady and enjoyed our little visits. She made my day when I got to see her and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family.

My sincerest condolences and sympathies to the Dolan family with the passing of Millie. She treated me like a son during my high school years hanging out with Randy. She was so nice to have a conversation with too. Randy I am truly sorry for your loss. God Bless and Godspeed.
