So many wonderful memories of Jane's kindness and love she shared with us; as you both served our church in Ronan. Blessings and prayers to you Mark and all the family. Jane's face always took on a glow and her face a huge smile when she talked about her kids and grandchildren. She couldn't have loved her family more.

It is with sadness and joy we speak to the love and grace of Jane, a most extraordinary person who truly lived the teaching and love of her Savior, Jesus Christ. To know her was a privilege. She always sought peace, love, and joy for others, and I know she is already missed in this world. Her witness as a woman, wife, mother, co-worker, friend, always pointed upward. Our peace at this moment of grief is comforted knowing as she rests in the loving arms of her Savior, we too can join her someday. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, keep her family and loved ones until they meet again.

To have been a small part of Jane's life has been a privilege and blessing. Now as you, her family, seek comfort in the sorrow that follows a dearly loved one's demise, I can rejoice with you that she has attained her reason for living. For it is in leaving this earth, we gain life everlasting. I shall miss Jane, whom I respected, admired and truly loved as a sister in the grace of God. We know she is "Home" joining in with those clothed in white singing hosannas in the presence of the Savior (and maybe even ringing a hand bell or two).

My mom was special, she never gave up, she sacrificed everything, she was hilarious, she loved unconditionally, and she bore witness to a life transformed by Christ. Mom could take a single clothes pin a piece of string and a marshmallow and make it a great day. I will never forget the ships in Duluth, haircuts in the garage, sour cream and onion pringles with string cheese, my robot costume, my Rit Dye green polo, my home-made Packers jersey, playing catch while you held the garbage can and rolled the ball back to me, Christmas lights, butter horns, our trip to Germany, picking raspberries, and most of all your support in difficult times. If you are still reading this post, my moms greatest wish at this moment would simply be that you know the love of Jesus as both Savior and Lord.

Revelation 21:3-7 says this, I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Look! Gods dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! Then he said, Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. He said to me: It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

My mom felt the hands of Jesus who wiped her last tear a few days ago. She felt His hands on her face. In that moment she was made new. She has been made new no more crying, no more pain. I will see my mom again. Together we will drink from the spring together. May we all learn from the life of my mother, love God and love one another, and watch as the Good Shepherd prepares a place for us.

Thanks mom I love you.
