Vesta Verschoot
December 15, 1943 - June 17, 2021

Place of Birth: Wolf Point, Montana
Residence: Lambert, Montana
Age: 77

Vesta Beery was born December 15, 1943 in Wolf Point, MT to Newell and Margaret (Kaiser) Beery. She lived and grew up on the family farm east of Vida, MT, and attended school in Richey, MT. After graduating from high school, she attended college in Billings, MT. Upon completion, she returned and worked in the Circle Bank until she met and married her husband, David Verschoot.
Dave and Vesta married on February 9, 1964 in Circle, MT. They settled on the farm east of Richey, and had three sons; Todd, Tyler and Tony.
Vesta helped out on the farm as much as she could while raising her sons. She always had a meal on the table, no matter who showed up. No one ever left hungry. Vesta’s buns were infamous. Not only did she make them for her family, but for many social events as well.
Vesta took a lot of pride in her yard. She loved her flowers, trees, and garden. She spent countless hours mowing and watering. But nothing compared to the love she had for her three grandchildren, Cade, Kael, and Maci. She had a very special relationship with them, and they loved her just as much.
Vesta passed away June 17, 2021 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO.
Vesta is survived by; her husband, Dave, of 57 years; her sons, Todd (Bobbie Jo), and Tony (Lisa); her grandchildren, Cade, Kael, and Maci; her brother, Joe Beery; her brother-in-law, Dale Rosaaen; her sisters-in-law, Joanne Beery, Barb Beery, Sandy Verschoot, Donna Verschoot, and Nancy Verschoot; and multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.

I met Vesta when I worked at All West Ranch Supply in Sidney. Many Christmases I helped her pick out shirts for all her guys. We always had a good visit. These later years I would run into her at the grocery store and we would still have a good visit. My sincere condolences in the loss of a special lady. Jeanne

To all of Vesta's family,
Vesta was one of my favorite people to visit with when we visited on the 4th. What a great sense of humor and general outlook on life. Loved her! I know you will all miss her dearly. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

David, Todd, Tony and Verschoot family, so very sorry to hear about Vesta's passing. She was an amazing, compassionate, caring, and kind human being with a heart of gold. Although you lost the family anchor here on earth, heaven has gained another angel and she will always be present in your lives. My most sincere condolences and prayers during these difficult times.

Vesta was one of my best friends and we've talked by phone a lot ever since we moved to ND. I will miss her so very much but not like her family will miss her. She was the family anchor and dearly loved her kids and grandkids. I pray we meet again Vesta. You were one special lady. Deanna

Dear Vesta's family,
It seems like just last week that Les and I ran in to Vesta and had a brief, but as always neat visit. She touched so many hearts in a loving way, I know she did mine. Finding this news breaks my heart. She will be soooo missed, but definitely not forgotten. Love, hugs, thoughts and Prayers go out to you all. The Poland's

She always said hello and asked how we were doing whenever we would see her. She talked about her grandkids with a huge smile and there were some laughs in there too of the shenanigans that went on. I'm so glad she had the opportunity to be a grandma, you could tell she loved being one. My deepest sympathies to all of you. May her memories live on forever.

Dave and Family...words fail to express my sincere sympathy at this time of such great loss. The ONE reoccurring word from all who knew her, Anchor. She was the Anchor of the family..The Center, the Gracious go to in good times and bad. A blessing for all who knew her.

David, Todd, Tony I am extremely saddened by the news of Vesta's passing. I always look forward to visiting with Vesta at the Den on Friday evenings. Those visits truly made my week complete. Her love for her family radiated through out the whole community. She made beautiful doolies and I will always treasure the ones she made for me. David, Todd, Tony I will hold you all in my prayers, as I believe that Vesta will always be watching over you all. Love Amy
