Dad, Grandpa & son, David Anderson, 80, passed away from complications with COVID at St. Alexius in Bismarck, ND at the age of 80 years.
David was born, May 20, 1940 in Baker, MT, to George and Mary Louise (Ramsey), the only son of four kids. David lived in Mill Iron, MT as a very young boy and later moved to Baker, MT, where he grew up with 3 sisters that loved him greatly.
While in high school David and his friend’s souped-up cars to race. To which his father George didn’t think that he would make it to his twenties. So, after attending high school he decided to enlist in the US Army in 1957. While in the Army he traveled to lots of different places. His favorite place was Barcelona, Spain. Then in 1965 he was discharged for the Army.
David moved back to Baker, MT and started working in the oil field. He worked 30 years for Nobel Drilling. The first 15 years doing different things and the last 15 as a consultant.
In November 23, 1974 David was united in marriage to Bernice Huether in Belle Fourche, SD. After marriage they made a home is Baker. They moved several times before moving to Sidney, MT. Where he continued in the oil field then branched out into oil field consulting. After many years in the oil field, he started to work for Theil Roofing. In 1993, he started working for the Sidney Health Center, until his eyesight started to fail him. So, in 2001 he had to retire from the hospital.
David was a member of the American Legion in Williston and Sidney. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching old John Wayne movies and spending time with his grandkids.
David is survived by; his wife, Bernice Anderson, Sidney, MT; daughters Stacey (Arnie) Thiel, Monica Macgrady and Desiree (Jerome) Miller all of Sidney, MT and Kim Cundiff of VA; his sons, Michael (Laura) Anderson, Arkansas and Jeremy Manke, Williston, ND; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by; his parents, George and Mary Louise Anderson, Georgia LaVonne (Bob) Hoenke, Phillis (Bill) McClenahan and Doris (Paul) Masa.

He will be greatly missed.
