Lucille F. Meiers, 87, of Stanley, ND, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Mountrail Bethel Home in Stanley, ND.

Lucille was born April 17, 1933 to Martin and Agnes (Hendrickson) Jacobson in Stanley, North Dakota. She was raised and attended school in Stanley and graduated in 1950.

Lucille was united in marriage to Wayne Meiers on October 25, 1950. Wayne and Lucille farmed and ranched west of Ross, ND. She worked as a bookkeeper at the Ross Elevator for 30+ years. When Wayne passed away in 1992, Lucille then moved to Stanley where she lived with her cat, Teko until 2016 when she entered Mountrail Bethel Home.

Lucille enjoyed travelling around with her bingo playing buddies, going to a casino and playing dummy rummy with her friends and spending time with family.

Lucille is survived by her three children, Jeri Lynn (Louis) Kuster of Stanley, ND, William (Lil) of Stanley, ND and Dan (Kathy) of Ross, ND; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
