Jerome Pullen, Sr., 82, of Minot formerly of Stanley, ND passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Trinity Nursing Home in Minot, ND.

Jerome Allan Pullen, Sr. was born to Ira and Inez Pullen on February 5, 1938. He grew up on the family farm SW of Donnybrook, ND and there was no place on earth that he cared more to be on.

Jerome married Karen Goetsch in June, 1958. They were divorced in 1973.

In the early 1980’s Jerome decided to sell his Standard Oil Station and brought Matco Professional Tools to western North Dakota. He was with Matco more than 30 years and was known to say “I do not plan on retiring”. Jerome was also honored with almost 100 awards for his hard work; 11 were for being in the top 50 of Matco’s highest awards that covers the United States and Canada.

Jerome and his siblings and their families are very close and often speak with each other more than once a month. The miles apart just draw them tighter together.

He was a member of Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Minot, ND.

Jerome is survived by his wife, Karen, they remarried in 2005; son, Daniel (Valley City, ND); daughter, Cindy (Brian) Bruce (Albuquerque, NM); son, Jerome, JR. (Minneapolis, MN). Jerome is also survived by step daughter’s, Deb Andrews (John) Walker (Minot, ND), Lynn Andrews Azure (Minot, ND) and Nancy Andrews (Wil) Cabagua (Albuquerque, NM); brother, Dr. Wayne (Stella) (Fort Walton Beach, FL); sister, Ardella (Pullen) (Darold) Johnson (Cavalier, ND); brother, Roger Pullen (Covington, WA); sister-in-law, Arleen Armstrong, (Midland, TX); one grandchild, Calvin Polen (Eugene, OR) and precious nieces and nephews.
