Linda Kay Miller, 71, Watford City, died January 10th, 2020, at McKenzie County Hospital. Burial will be held at a later date this spring at Wilmington Lutheran Cemetery, Arnegard. She will be buried next to her daughter Tamara Kay Miller. Friends may send condolences to 2788 138th AVE NW, Alexander, ND 58831. Linda Kay (Dye) Miller was born on May 25th, 1948, in Ottumwa, IA to Earl and Elizabeth (Collett) Dye. She was the eighth out of twelve children. She attended Blakesburg High School, where she participated in basketball.
Linda married Richard Miller and together they had their two girls, Deborah and Tamara. Deborah and Tamara were the center of her life.
Linda loved to read, play Bingo, watch ID, and spend time with her four granddaughters. She was a very proud grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Tom) Elliot of Arnegard, ND; four granddaughters, Danielle (Drew) Flaagan, Marisa Elliot, Emily Elliot, and Marion Elliot; a brother, Roy Dye; four sisters, Charlotte Litch, Sally Schippers, Betty Goodwin, and Janet Braag. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She is preceded in death by parents, Earl and Elizabeth Dye; her five brothers, Dale Collett, Don Dye, Jerry Dye, Larry Dye, and Richard Dye; her sister, Nancy Dye; and daughter Tamara Miller.

I was blessed to get to know Linda for the last couple years. We will miss Linda so much. May she rest peacefully.

We already miss Linda so much at the Good Shepherd Home! Thank you for sharing Linda with us for the past few years, she could always make us laugh that’s for sure! I’m glad she’s no longer in pain. Sending you many hugs and prayers!!!
