It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Jodi L. Brunner-Evenson
December 12, 1966 - April 3, 2019

Place of Birth: Chester, Montana
Residence: Sidney, Montana
Age: 52

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear Jodi Lynn Brunner Evenson. She was called home by Our Lord on Wednesday afternoon, April 3, 2019 at Sidney Health Center, Sidney, MT Emergency Room. Jodi was born on December 12, 1966 in a small, twelve bed hospital in Chester, Montana to Jim and Sharron (Evenson) Brunner. Jodi was re-baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney with Aunt Darlene and Uncle Bill Brunner as her Godparents. Jodi attended Elementary school in Sidney, and during High School Jodi placed 3rd in State for the 'Discus Throw'. She graduated from Sidney High School in May of 1985 and attended college in Powell Wyoming. Jodi was the son, Jim never had. She was always shadowing him, hunting with him and learned her work ethic from both of her wonderful parents. Jodi worked at Walmart when it opened in Williston and County Market in Sidney. She met and married the love of her life, Tom Evenson at Lonsdale Methodist Church in Sidney on July 1st, 1994. For the first ten years of their marriage Jodi and Tom took many fun-filled vacations. Soon they were blessed with the light of Jodi's life, Ryanne Elizabeth-Joy Evenson. She was born March 24, 2004 in Billings, Montana. Jodi's tireless work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit never quit! She always looked for a way to contribute to their family's lifestyle and to help others in need. Jodi donated countless hours each week sorting, folding, and organizing clothing for people in need at the 'Free Store' at Lonsdale. She also collected used items that could be repurposed to help animals at the 'Help for Homeless Pets' in Billings, Montana. With her bubbly personality, she spread love and kindness through friendships and selfless efforts to help others in need. She will be sadly missed by all of the lives she touched. The only conciliation our family has, is that Our Lord in Heaven Has Taken Jodi, Our Angel, To His Paradise. A Special Place certainly filled with Garage Sales, Hunting and Fishing All Year Long with her Dad. May Her Memory Be Eternal!
Jodi is survived by her loving husband of nearly 25 years, Tom Evenson, her beautiful daughter, Ryanne Evenson, her dear mother, Sharron Brunner, her wonderful sister Gina McIntyre (Fred), her Aunt Betty and Uncle Melvin Brunner of Sterling, CO, her Godfather and Uncle, Bill Brunner of Sidney MT, her Aunt Daryl-Lynne Lemieux of Regina, SK Canada, her numerous brothers/sisters-in-laws and numerous (great) nieces and nephews.
Jodi was preceded in death by her father, Jim Brunner, her grandparents, Leona Brunner of Sterling, CO, Joy and Elizabeth Evenson of Regina, SK Canada, her Uncle, Paul Lemieux of Regina, SK Canada, her Aunt Darlene Brunner of Sidney, MT, her Niece, Michaela Anderson and Nephew, Ryan Evenson, both of Lambert, MT, and her cousin Charlie Brunner of Loveland, CO. Memorial contributions in Jodi's Memory may be made to: Help for Homeless Pets 2910 Hannon Rd, Billings, MT 59101 Ph: 1-(406) 896-1700

I have enjoyed Jodi since I bought their Mini Cooper. Who else could give good advice on all things fun in Algodones Mexico then Jodi. Such sad news I lost a younger sister suddenly at 52 years of age. I can understand only too well that loss. Hugs and sending my deepest sympathy

I'm so very sorry for the loss of Jodi. She was such a sweet lady and Sidney will definitely not be the same without seeing her friendly face around and her always greeting you with a huge smile.

My heart is so sad! Jodi and were classmates and I can hear her laugh right now; she was one who was always happy, smiling and made everyone feel special. I will always remember her smile; and when she smiled her whole body smiled. She really was just one of those people that was genuinely caring and kind to all. She will be missed by so many. I have no words to ease the numbness and heartache her family are enduring. My prayers and sincerest condolences to her family right now. Gods peace and strength.

To Jodi's Family, My heartfelt love to you at this time when prayers and love of friends can help buoy your spirits up as you face life without Jodi here on Earth. She was one whose presence in a room was felt the minute she came in, always bubbly and full of life. She was this way as a very young person when I knew her at Trinity Church, a trait she kept all her life. May you find comfort and peace in knowing God's grace and mercy for Jodi and all of us.
