My sympathy to all of Robbie's family & friends. Robbie was the only boy on our block so he was pretty special to us Monger & Lohse girls. We spent a lot of time with the VanBerkom family. My parents (Orvin & Alma) were Robbie's godparents. I remember how he would drive around in 3/4 ton red pickup with his head out the window. Sometimes the boys would have some crazy talk going on. Robbie would always say " I need to get back to my roots in Alamo." There's no more suffering for a special guy who had such a big heart. We are going to miss you Robbie.

Robbie and David were together all the time when they were younger. They even invented their own language! Lord only knows what they were saying! What one didn't think of, the other did!
It was a very hard phone call for David to make on Sunday when he said told me he lost one of his best old friends. May he rest in peace.
With deepest sympathies, janice

To Rob’s Friends and family,
I am so sorry to hear this, and I didn’t know he was battling with cancer, it’s terrible that we lose touch through the years and in our lives. I pray that God wraps his arms around your family through this tough time. Rob was a good friend, and we shared many memories since our high school years, and through our adult years. You will be missed my friend. Rest In Peace.
