Sandra Kay (Quammen) Baade was born on September 3, 1946 to Gordon and Irene Quammen in Stanley, ND. She was the oldest of 4 children. She married Rod Baade on January 7, 1966. They had 3 sons, Keith, Aaron and Nicholas who are all married and gave her beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sande did so many things, enjoyed many hobbies that there are too many to list. She made many quilts by hand. She enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table playing games with her kids and grandkids for hours, usually by “Sande’s Rules”. She spent the last 20 years caring for her Daddy and Momma.

Stanley was always home to her, even though she lived and traveled to many different states, Stanley was always the place to come home and is where she truly loved to be.

She has many very special friends that were dear to her heart. She also has many special nieces and nephews.

She passed away on September 30, 2018 peacefully with family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Irene Quammen and her sister, Sue (Susie) Quammen Mountain.
