Nicholas Steven Almer was born November 18, 1978 in Tioga, ND, the son of Steven and Victoria (Holzwarth) Almer. Nick grew up in Tioga, ND and graduated from Tioga High School. After high school, he attended college for computer engineering. He worked at Black Knight as a project engineer. Nick’s passion was music. He enjoyed playing the guitar as well as the piano.
Nicholas is survived by his father, Steven Almer, Tioga; sister, Angel (Randy) Pederson, Tioga; brothers, Alex Almer, Tioga, Jeremy (Becky) Almer, MN; nephews, Lynkin and Keetyn Pederson; grandmother, Sue Holzwarth, Colorado Springs, CO; extended family, Terry Ginkel, Jacksonville, Michael Eaton, Jacksonville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, Bob (Lyndy) Holzwarth, Colorado Springs, CO, Mona (Erling) Barmoen, Tioga, Marvin (Jo) Almer, Tioga, Linda (Johnny) Moe, Tioga.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Almer; sister, Stephanie Almer; uncle, Merle “Boomer” Almer; aunt, Diane Almer; nephew, Hayden Almer; grandparents, Merle and Albertine Almer, Walt Holzwarth; cousin, Chris Kranig.

I did not know you very well Nick,but knew your Mom and know your Dad, and Angel too, You have left a huge gap in their lives. and your entire family and friends. You were such a nice kid ,when I knew you, and so smart.I will always remember some of the things you said that have proven to be true. You saw so much most of us didn't . Rest In Peace Dear Nick, and give your Mom a hug Love her. God Bless

So sorry to hear of Nick's passing. He was a wonderful coworker. He will be truly missed. Prayers for the family.
