Richard was born on September 5, 1950 to parents Henry and Emma (Wagner) Rossol in Sidney, MT. PeeWee grew up in Sidney and attended area schools. Richard worked for the City of Sidney until 1968 when he started working at Sidney Sugars, where he continued to work until retiring in 2015. PeeWee especially enjoyed visiting with his friends and family. His dog “Rascal” was his constant companion. They would lie on the grass and play for hours. He loved the outdoors; camping and fishing and riding his four wheeler. Richard enjoyed his tractors, farming and his animals. He was a collector of scrap iron which he sold. He also collected aluminum cans and it was a family project, starting with his father. Richard was always proud of his garden.
Richard died on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his home in Sidney.
Survivors include his loving companion Mary Williams of the family home in Sidney, MT; his sons, James Rossol of Douglas, WY, Greg (Lindsey) Williams of Circle, MT; daughters, Amanda (Arvin) Rossol of Plentywood, MT, Rebecca (Eli) Filler of Laurel, MT, Nicole (Luke) Berry of Cartwright, ND; granddaughter, Ella Filler, Laurel, MT; sisters, Donna (Allen) Lassey of Cartwright, ND, Charlene (Bob) Schwartzwalter of Billings, MT; brothers, Ken (Denise) Rossol of Sidney, MT, Ron (Kelli) Rossol of Billings, MT, and Robert Rossol of Great Falls, MT; numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Michelle Rossol and son-in-law, Keith Filler.

To the Rossel family my heartfelt sympathy i worked many years with Richard, I could not have had a more genuine person to work with. We had many laughs and learned a lot together. I counted him as a great friend and have many memories of our short time together. He will be greatly missed.

With great sadness we learned about the accidental death of Richard. Heaven is sounding sweeter all the time. We grew up with the Rossol family and love them dearly. We all went in separate directions but never forgot them. Our cousins are their cousins. A beautiful family.

So very sorry . he will be missed so very much. I remember when Dick would bring lambs to our house to keep them warm in the garage . the kids loved having a share in feeding and hugging them . I will be thinking of you all.

Mary and the Rossol family. Sorry for your loss. PeeWee was a one of a kind. He was the first person I met upon moving from Texas. He was a great guy and was a joy to work with at Sidney Sugars. Taylor and I enjoyed visiting with him every time we stopped by his house. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
