Norma Jean Davidson,75, of Williston, ND, passed away Tuesday morning, September 26, 2017 at her residence in Williston. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Williston is assisting the family.

Norma was born on December 27, 1941 to Jens and Mildred Svendsen at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Williston, ND. Norma lived most of her younger years in Froid, MT. She attended the Froid Public School, graduating in 1958. She was active in Girl Scouts, Luther League, F.H.A, the school band, choir and she was a Froid Cardinal Cheerleader.

On January 17, 1959, Norma was united in marriage to Irvin Davidson in Medicine Lake, MT. To this union, three children were born; Laroy Gene, Debra Jean and Lavonne Jeanette. The family lived in White Earth, ND, where Norma served as the White Earth Village Assessor and was the Treasurer of the White Earth School Board. The family moved to Williston and Norma was a “Welcome Wagon” host. Norma and Irv owned and operated Irv’s Family Furniture in Williston for many years. She also worked and Joseph’s Ready To Wear Clothing and the Brooks Clothing Store.

Norma enjoyed playing board games and cards, especially Bridge, golfing at Blacktail Dam, picture puzzles and playing Candy Crush on her I-Pad.
Norma was preceded in death by her special son, Laroy, her father, Jens Svendsen, her mother, Mildred Luebke her baby sister, Marva and a nephew, Donald (DJ) Luebke.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Irvin Davidson of Williston, two Daughters, Debra (Dan) Conlin of Minot, ND and Lavonne Davidson Walker of West Fargo, ND, two granddaughters, Taylor (Dustin) Fetzer of Albuquerque, NM and Haley Conlin of Austin, TX, her brother, Donald (Eileen) Luebke of Williston, ND and her sister, Mavis (Doug) Sala along with several special nieces and nephews.
