Frankie Claire was born on January 12, 1954 in Williston, ND to Clarence and Ethel (Weber) Christianson of Alexander, ND. She was one of two children. Frankie was raised on the family farm 15 miles south west of Alexander, ND. She attended grade school at Moline County School, a little country school 4 miles from home. She spent most of her time playing in the barn with all the kittens and riding Bikes with her older sister, Bonnie. Frankie was also involved in 4-H club during grade school. She attended high school and graduated from Alexander High School, in 1972. Her main goal in life was caring for people which brought her to enroll in Nursing School. Frankie received her LPN license degree from Williston State College, taking her to work in Billings, MT for her first job. She later moved back to Sidney, MT and started working at the Sidney Health Center for 30 years. Her second family was all the nurses she worked with. On Friday, the 13th of August, 1976 Frankie was united in marriage to the love of her life Jess Burman, Sidney, MT.
Frankie was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Sidney. Her main hobbies were gardening and taking care of their two boys, Travis Jay and Brent James and later four grandchildren. They have remained in Sidney and would have celebrated their 40th Anniversary on August 13, 2016.
Frankie liked garage sales, collecting Christmas snowman, Tea Cups and bells. She enjoyed traveling to the Oregon Coast and to Branson, MO with her sister and brother-in-law. You better not bother her when the Denver Bronco football game is on!

I'd like to extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to the family of Frankie first of all. Then to the many friends, coworkers, patients and their families on the loss of this absolutely wonderful, kind, caring, genuine, honest woman, mother, wife, friend and nurse. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to see and visit with Frankie just 2 weeks prior to her sudden death. She was a dear friend and coworker of mine for over 25 years and she is and will be missed terribly. I love you Frankie and imagining a world without your beautiful smile, infectious laugh, gracious and generous personality and spirit is unfathomable for me. Not to mention all the people whose live's you touched over the years. May God Bless Jess, your sons and their spouses, and the grandchildren whom Frankie adored and couldn't get enough "time" with. Godspeed to you all.

Travis - Prayers be with you and your whole family at this time. I remember when I had you in grade school your mom and I hit it off right away! She always made a point of checking on me if I was in the hospital for anything - she had the best smile. Your whole family has been blessed by having her in your lives!

My heart broke when I heard of Frankie's passing. Frankie was my first Montana friend when I arrived at Community Memorial Hospital in 1974. It was the beginning of a wonderful and long friendship. Words can never express the genuine, loving , caring and devoted woman she was. Our world can never be the same without her. Rest in peace dear friend. Praying that Gods love will heal your sorrow and His peace enter your hearts to comfort you..Jess, TJ, BJ and families.
