Lucille C. Timm, 90, of Culbertson, MT, passed away at the Roosevelt Memorial Nursing Home in Culbertson on Thursday, June 8, 2014. Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Williston is assisting the family.Lucille Catherine Timm was born August 12, 1925 in Carthage, Missouri to Walter and Nell Frost. She was the 3rd oldest of six children. She graduated from high school at 16 years old and attended business college soon after.
After graduating from business college she moved to Vancouver and became a welder in the shipyards during WWII. She then met and married Roy Timm and moved to Rhame, North Dakota in 1946. They had 3 children, John, Ginny and Sandy. They worked with a construction company for 9 years and moved 42 times before settling in Culbertson, Montana in 1964. Lucille and Roy began 5 Star Service with the help of their children. Soon after this business transformed into J & R Transportation and became an over the road trucking business.
Lucille was well known for her tasty baking skills. She worked for the hospital in the kitchen where people would line up to get one of her famous caramel rolls.
Lucille was Roosevelt County Justice of the Peace and a dispatcher of up to 7 trucks.
Lucille enjoyed many things throughout her 90 years from musical events with her daughters, to sporting and musical events with her grandkids. She was featured in a newspaper because of her beautiful front yard.
In her later years Lucille called Roosevelt Medical Center her home. She truly enjoyed the staff and thought of them as her family.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Timm, her parents, Walter & Nell Frost, her brother Lawrence Frost, her son John Timm, and her son-in-law Tom Bjorge.
Lucille is survived by: her siblings - Ellen Wilson, Dorothy Schull, Carolyn Johannes, and Marvin (Dottie) Frost, her daughters - Ginny Bjorge and Sandy (Rick) Lamb, her grandchildren – Stefanie (Dalton) Dosch, Jeremy (Jamie) Timm, Eric (Dawn) Bjorge, Babette (Dusty) Karlstrom, Kent (Val) Bjorge, Dirk (Jami) Schmitz, also 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
