Alisha Brothers, 81, passed away at Bethel Lutheran Home on Monday, June 6, 2016. Services are pending with Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home of Williston.

Alisha was born in Garrison, North Dakota on February 6, 1935. She went to school in White Earth where she met her first husband, Jim White. They married in 1955 and to that union was blessed with five children. After they divorced, Alisha met Ernest Schmack and was blessed with a one child. Later she married David Brothers in 1966. To that union she was blessed with two children.

She loved bingo, it was one of her favorite pastimes. Sewing was a hobby that allowed her to reflect on the powerful words in the Bible. Alisha spent 60 years in housekeeping where she was able to listen to Elvis, Little Jimmy Dickens and the Grand Ole Opry.

After retiring Alisha spent most of her time fishing and spending times with her grandchildren. She loved to camp and would like for her family to continue with this tradition.

Alisha was a strong believer in God, her devotion to her Lord and Savior was built on a solid foundation of faith, hope and the greatest of these is love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her two daughters Marion and Patricia, her brother Auto Roe, and her late husband David Brothers.

Alisha is survived by her children; Carolyn, James, Robert, Gloria, Nodine, Yvonne, Earl and Estella; and her grandchildren: Carolyn's children Michael, Quentin, Shylynn; Patricia’s children Galen, Russell, Shawn, Lisa, Kendall and Theresa; James’s children Tonya, Matthew, Christina and Georgina; Nodine’s children Paulette and Ryan; Robert’s children Robert Wayne Jr., Pias Benjamin and Justin James; Earl’s child Emily Jean; Estella’s children Gregory, Tiffany, Lucas and Dalton; Yvonne’s children Samuel and Justin; Gloria's Children Krista and Tyler and numerous nieces and nephews.
