It Is Our Privilege And Purpose To Serve You
Christie "Chris" John King
August 3, 1953 - July 28, 2023

Place of Birth: Pilot Mound, Alberta, Canada
Residence: Trenton, North Dakota
Age: 69

Chris J. King, 69, of Trenton, ND passed away July 28, 2023, at 9:15am surrounded by his children after a long and courageous seven plus year battle with small cell lung cancer.

Chris was born in Pilot Mound, Canada on August 3, 1953, to Pearl Mae Sanders and Arthur D. King.

Chris was a proud Navy veteran and a man of many trades. He enjoyed woodworking, construction, welding, painting, and operating heavy machinery - to name just a few. After serving in the United States Navy, he attended college in Grand Forks, ND for Architecture. It was there that he met the love of his life, Robin. Chris and Robin were united in marriage on July 17, 1981, in Saint Michaels, ND.

Watching old westerns with no sound on and listening to blues music was how you would typically find that Chris spent his days. When he wasn't tinkering around in his garage or playing on his skid steer, he loved fishing and playing cribbage. He always knew the weather report and how much rain we got.

He also knew the exact amount of days he had been without the love of his life, Robin. "792, to the day", after losing her to cancer on May 27, 2021.

Thankful that he is no longer suffering; and finding peace that he gets to be "home" with Robin again... All three of his children and multiple grandchildren will miss him very much.
