Bernell G. Christofferson, 57, of Tioga, ND, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at Trinity Medical Center in Minot, ND after injuries received in an accident last Wednesday, May 8th. Bernell Gene Christofferson was born May 5, 1962 in McVille, ND. The family resided in Tolna, ND, where he was baptized in the Lutheran faith. In 1966, the family moved to Tioga, ND. He attended grade school and high school in Tioga. He later earned his G.E.D. He joined the oilfield workforce at an early age, working for Moe Well Service and various other companies.

Bernell was once married to Jacque Wiedmer. To this union three daughters were born, Celeste Eilene, Sara Nicole and Lindsey Scott.

Bernie had a passion for the outdoors. He loved taking his daughters fishing when they were younger, with some occasional wild flowers and berry picking fun. He also enjoyed reading, putting puzzles together, watching football, collecting rocks, carpentry work and dancing with all those he loved. If you ever sat down with Bernie, you were gonna hear a story. Some were taller tales than others! Bernie ALWAYS had to get in the last word!

He is survived by his daughters, Celeste (Jeff) Cox, Westhope, ND, Sara (Kirk) Hawkinson, New Town, ND and Lindsey Christofferson, Minot, ND; mother, Iona Christofferson, Tioga, ND; sisters, Candice (Bob) Wenger, Tioga, ND, June Biwer (Rory Syverson), Tioga, ND; brother, Colin (Sue) Christofferson, Tioga, ND; grandchildren, Dylan, Lexi, Dominic, Leigha, Lucas, Logan and Brady; one aunt; one uncle; numerous cousins; nieces; nephews and special companion Jenny Kembel.

Bernell was preceded in death by his father, Neil Christofferson.
