This saddens me as Cary was always a kind friend to have. Anytime talking to him he had a smile and time for you. So remember the snowmobiling times! Rest in peace dear friend and deepest sympathies to all his family and friends near and far. Cary you will be missed by many.

My heart is so saddened. What an incredible man Cary was. I will always remember his smile and his laugh—they were both so contagious. He was always there for me, willing to lend a helping hand, even when I thought he was doing too much.

There really isn’t much that can be said or done to make this any easier. Please just know that although I can’t be there in person, I am with you all in spirit and in my heart. I’m thinking of you all and sending you so much love during this incredibly difficult time.

May God bless you all and give you strength and comfort in the days ahead.

My mom always told me this story when they were little she would babysit the kids for JoAnne. Cary was always the quite one and the other boys would pick on him and she would get angry with the others for it. The one day he decided to stand up for himself. She said it was the funniest thing she would be laughing so hard trying to finish the story...she would say he stomped up to her with his hands on his hips and said "Auntie I have had enough....". I will miss you cousin

Lots of Great Memories! Motorcycle rides, Sturgis trips. Cary gave me my one and only guardian angel bell for my bike. I'd never even heard about them. Rock Hunting, IYKYK. Hill climbing in the Dune Buggy, that one time to Medora, drinking raspberry wine at his folks, that one time I thought coffee flavored whiskey was the Best Idea ever, until the following morning. Disposing of a pet cat that got ran over in front of my house. My Mr. Fix It guy on occasion. Im very grateful for the Good Memories but Very Sad there won't get to be more. My Thoughts and Prayers for Darlene, Damien, Heather, Derek and Karee Jo. The grandkids, Kevin, Wade, Lori, Chad and everyone else that loved him. He was a Great guy,and a Great friend to All. Watford City lost a Very Special Guy. Love you Cary.

I only met Cary in passing, but I have had the good fortune of spending many memorably good nights at Outsiders and HM.

The Garmanns are a major reason why Watford City truly is home for a lot of people, and we are very fortunate as a community to call them friends, neighbors or family.

Please accept my deepest condolences to the Garmann family.
