Dorothy was a sweet, loving, caring woman. She helped me when my car broke down. She watered my plants when I had to be out of town. We did charity fundraising together, placing flocks of pink flamingos in people's yards. She never let me forget the day she was at the wheel, I was bent over reaching into the backseat to get flamingos,
when someone's big yellow Lab came up behind me and barked at me. It scared me so bad I practically jumped over the car. Dorothy loved to remind me of that moment, prompting both of us to laugh until we nearly cried.I will miss her caring friendship. My heart goes out to her family that meant the world to her. We have lost a wonderful woman.

Sis was a caring woman and I loved her. We had good times and bad times but we always loved one another. When we talked on the phone she was so busy talking I would have to remind her to let me get a word in. She would stop and let me get a word in and continue her talking. She had a great sense of humor. Wish we could have seen more of one another in later life. I will miss her.

Of all the special gifts in life however great or small to have you as our sister was the greatest gift of all may the winds of the love flow softly and whisper in your ear we love and miss you, sister and wish that you were here deep in our hearts your life is kept to love and cherish, not forget no more tomorrow’s we can share, but yesterday‘s are always there. A silent thought a secret tear keeps your memory ever near in my heart forever. I love you, baby sister. You’re a big sister Edith.
