It was a long, long time ago but I never will forget the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls in the Rolfstad farm kitchen. The wonderful hugs and her enthusiasm at our Christmas program at Palmer school. I remember one of you girls helping me with arithmetic. God bless you and comfort you all as you adjust to the loss of your dear Mother/Grandmother/Friend Dora.
Sincerely,
Wanda M Miller

Dora was first known to me as a country community neighbor of my Aunt Evelyn. She was really so bubbly all the time. We had great visits at First Lutheran and she was truly an inspiration and mentor. I was happy for jury trial days when I worked in District Court, because Dora was a dependable and capable bailiff we could count on to get the job done. And her jury treats usually spilled over on to our desks after the trial was finished. She held great pride in her endeavors and family. I have missed her already since she left Williston, and my sincere condolences for those who feel this glaring absence in their hearts. I will always hear her voice and laughter, and see those winking smiles.

Bekki & the Rolfstad family,
Thinking of Dora brings back great memories. The Christmas plays at Palmer School, the many other events which she and Ervin helped make so special. Their dog waiting at the school door to walk home with the Rolfstad kids. Ervin and Dora were close friends of my parents. They were respected members of our farm community. I remember as a young guy the row of tractors and drills going to the Rolfstad farm fields to plant wheat when Ervin was ill. Also the community helping frame their new, beautiful home. More recently it was great seeing Dora’s beautiful smile at the Kensington while visiting my mom and other friends. I really cherished our visits. She was a lady of faith, compassion and caring. I was blessed to have known her.
